Arran Elderslie and Bruce County are looking for input from the community to develop community brands for Tara and Chesley.
Bruce County, is undergoing an exercise to develop community brands for both Chesley and Tara.
A release says the brand is the community’s identity. The visual elements showcase the community’s unique characteristics, its history, and its vision for the future.
It says, “Community members often understand the community’s true identity best, which is why we hope you can take the time to share your feedback through the survey.”
They say responses will be used to support the development of brands for both communities.
The survey asks what comes to mind when you think of each village, what’s your favourite thing about it, some words you associate with it, unique experiences you can have there, what makes it different, what is the village best known for among other questions.
You can also submit images you feel best represent the community.
To gather more details and feedback, two in-person public workshops will be hosted. You are asked to RSVP to help them plan appropriately and to notify you if dates or times are adjusted due to weather.
There will be community workshops in each community.
One is scheduled for Tuesday, January 10th at 7 p.m. at the Tara Community Centre (150 Hamilton Street)
A meeting for Chesley is scheduled for Thursday, January 12th at 7 p.m. at the Chesley Community Centre (129 4th Avenue SE).
