A Georgian Bluffs couple has won $100,000 in the lottery.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says Margrit Ann Olson and Scott Grant turned $1 into $100,000 playing Encore.
They matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the November 4th, 2022 Lotto Max draw.
The married couple say they play Lotto 6/49 and Lotto Max weekly, and they always add Encore.
Grant says, “We checked the ticket twice,” and Olson adds, “I saw a $100 prize amount and my brain froze. When I noticed there were three more zeroes I showed Scott my phone – It was just shocking!”
They plan to buy new appliances for their home.
The winning ticket was purchased at Ultramar on Sykes Street in Meaford.
