Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Mayor Glen McNeil has been named as the Warden for Huron County yet again.
McNeil was acclaimed as the mayor of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh ahead of the municipal election on October 24th.
Now he’s continuing his role as warden for the county, and was sworn in during the Special Meeting for Huron County Council on November 30th.
McNeil said in a speech he was humbled to be appointed as Warden, and took time to welcome each new member of county council individually.
He also thanked each member of his family for their support.
McNeil said that he was committed to treating everyone on council and staff with respect, and promised to represent Huron County and council to the best of his ability.
He will be Warden from 2022-2024, until his successor is appointed.

Huron East: Bernie MacLellan and Alvin McLellan
Morris-Turnbury: Jamie Heffer
North Huron: Paul Heffer
South Huron: George Finch and Jim Dietrich
