Grey Bruce OPP have charged a man in connection to a weapon related incident in Dundalk.
OPP say on November 20th they responded to the report of a suspected impaired driver at a business located on Main Street East in the Township of Southgate.
Police say they arrived on scene and discovered the accused had allegedly displayed a weapon after a member of the public had taken their keys away.
Police have not said what kind of weapon was allegedly displayed.
A 52 year old man from Melancthon Township was arrested and is facing the following charges:
Assault with a weapon
Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
Failure or refusal to comply with demand
Operation while impaired
Driving while under suspension
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound at a later date.
