Lauren Watson of Neyaashiinigmiing is $250,000 richer after winning the lottery.
Watson, a 33-year-old mother of one, said she plays the lottery fairly regularly and enjoys playing the new INSTANT tickets
“I was sitting in the Tim Horton’s drive through line playing my ticket when I realized I won big,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings. “I couldn’t believe it. When I scanned it using the OLG App and it said Big Winner, I was so happy I was screaming,” she laughed.
Lauren said her spouse, who was sitting next to her, didn’t believe it at the time. “It was unbelievable – life changing,” she said.
Lauren plans to purchase new cars, complete some home renovations, help her parents, and save some for her daughter.
She won playing Instant 25X Multiplier which is available for $10 and the top prize is $250,000. Odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.44.
The winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada on Berford Street in Wiarton.
