Grey County is set to host two information sessions for upcoming Grey Road 18 and Grey Road 7 projects.
There will be an ‘Information Come & Go Session’ on the Grey Road 18 Project at Bognor Community Hall, Tuesday November 15, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The proposed construction period is Summer 2023 — from May 1 to August 31 (weather permitting)
Grey County will be working on Grey Road 18, from Grey Road 11 to Grey Road 29.
A release from the County says Grey Road 18 may be closed from Concession Rd 6 S to Concession Rd 4, depending on successful approvals for a road grade raise at the Bognor Marsh Wetland area. Timing of the closure will be determined upon award to the constructing Contractor. A detour route will be determined.
The work will include asphalt pavement widening to include paved shoulder, culvert replacement, guiderail replacement,
road grade raise at wetland area (may be postponed to 2024 depending on approvals).
There is also a scheduled ‘Information Come & Go Session’ on for the Grey Road 7 Project at Rocklyn Hall, Thursday November 17, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The proposed construction period for that project is Summer 2023 from May 1 to August 31 (weather permitting)
The County will be working on Grey Road 7 at two locations:
Location A – From 3 km north of Grey Road 13, north to Sideroad 22B
Location B – From Grey Road 40, north to Sideroad 4
The work will include culvert replacement, guiderail replacement, asphalt pavement widening to include paved shoulder.
