Hanover Police say a Chesley man faces charges after a parking lot incident.
Police Chief Christopher Knoll says on Twitter, “Officers were called to an assault in progress in a parking lot where a 19-year-old Chesley man pulled a knife. The suspect has since been arrested and charged with Assault with a Weapon x 2, Weapons Dangerous to Public Peace, Breach of Release Order & Breach of Recognizance.
Knoll says the suspect was held in custody for a bail hearing.
He says the victim was uninjured.
According to Chief Knoll, the police investigation continues, but he says the incident appears to have stemed from an online disagreement on a social media platform.
