To help inform you about some of the perspectives of candidates running for mayor and council in the upcoming municipal election, Bayshore Broadcasting News sent a few questions to all those seeking office in municipalities across Grey and Bruce counties.
In the Town of South Bruce Peninsula, candidates were asked:
- Why are you running?
- Are there any steps municipalities can take to ease cost of living concerns? If so, what measures would you support?
- What are your ideas for economic development in your municipality?
- Do you think the municipality has a role to play in the recruitment and retention of physicians and other healthcare workers?
- Do you support the approval of a proposed land based Fish Farm in the Wiarton area?
- What are your views on beach maintenance and parking in Sauble Beach?
You can review the answers provided by candidates in South Bruce Peninsula below by clicking on their names. Bayshore Broadcasting did not receive responses from candidates Garry Michi, Ana Vukovic and Matt Arthur before deadline.
