1) Why are you running?
I am running because my dad thought I should. I also feel there is a time for change and that you should be the change you want to see, the time is now.
2) Are there any steps municipalities can take to help ease cost of living concerns?
Yes, I believe that municipalities could help to fund geared to income or affordable living by funding housing complexes, perhaps even rent to own options The funding for affordable housing at the provincial level is becoming less and less.
Municipalities could also accommodate community vegetable gardens. There is almost always a green space in front of municipal buildings
3) What are your ideas for economic development in your municipality?
My municipality has already extended and area for an industrial park. I would like to see an expansion of local farm indoor and open air markets, and outdoor activity all seasons.
4) Do you think the municipality has a role to play in the recruitment and retention of physicians and other healthcare workers?
I do not believe this should be a burden of the municipality. I think this should be based on per capita, and provincially funded, and based.
