Owen Sound’s leaf and yard waste compost site will be closed tomorrow.
The city sent out an advisory saying the site at 2800 28th Avenue East will be closed because culvert repairs are being completed at the entrance and on the roadway of 28th Ave East to address ongoing flooding issues.
It is expected the compost site will reopen for regular hours on Friday, Oct. 7 at 8:30 a.m.
Until then, there will be no access to the compost site as the 28th Avenue East will be closed from the 20th Street East to 26th Street East.
Once the site is reopened it will be available 7 days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
