An official opening ceremony will be held at Fisher Field in Collingwood this afternoon for a tree park.
The Di Lorenzo Tree Park honours Julie Di Lorenzo, who made a $500,000 donation to kick start the Canopy Collingwood program.
The initiative has seen nearly 400 trees planted and the establishment of more than 40 pollinator gardens throughout the town.
The program provides rebates to residents who plant trees or gardens to cover part of the costs of the planting.
