A Lucknow woman is $75,000 richer after winning the top prize with Instant White Hot Lotto.
Catherine Hill says it’s her first major win, explaining, “I play Instant games weekly. I normally purchase crossword games, but I sometimes pick up new tickets that catch my eye.”
The retiree and mother of two says she told her husband as soon as she realized she won. “He didn’t believe me at all. I waited a few days to go to the store to validate the ticket and sure enough, it was a Big Winner. I called my husband into the store, and he still couldn’t believe it,” Hill says, adding, “We were both in disbelief and shock!”
She plans to save her win and donate to the salvation army.
Instant White Hot Lotto is available for $3 and the top prize is $75,000. Odds of winning any prize are 1 in 2.57
The winning ticket was purchased at Mac’s on Campbell Street in Lucknow.
