Construction of a multi-storey apartment building in Hanover is set to get underway.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held last week (Wednesday, Sep 21) to celebrate the occasion.
The developers marked the occasion with a $25,000 donation to the Hanover and District Hospital.
The seven-storey building at 223 10th street (the former Queen’s Hotel site) is expected to have 114 rental apartments, office spaces, retail spaces, a gym, a two-storey multipurpose room with a sunroof, as well as a rooftop patio.
The 188,000 square foot building is designed to include barrier-free units on each floor.
Construction is set to get underway at the beginning of October.
