Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP are investigating a fail-to-remain collision that took place yesterday evening and is looking for witnesses to help identify the involved vehicle.
The collision, involving a male on a skateboard and a pickup truck, took place on September 26th at 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of Pine Street and Third Street in Collingwood.
The male skateboarder was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries however the involved pickup, possibly a black-colored Chevrolet Silverado, did not remain at the scene and was last observed eastbound on Third Street.
It is believed that the involved vehicle may have damage to the passenger side fender or doors.
The investigation is ongoing at this time and anyone that may have witnessed this collision is asked to call Collingwood OPP .
