Huron County OPP say they’re prepared for an unsanctioned car rally that could be arriving in Goderich this weekend.
Police say that similar events in other communities typically result in car rally participants engaging in acts of mischief, dangerous and impaired driving, disturbing the peace, and breaking and entering.
Town officials have already sent a warning to organizers of the rally that they are not welcome in the community.
OPP also say that residents should be prepared for possible temporary road closures.
