A 36-year-old Barrie man faces an impaired operation charge after a boat collided with another in Ojibway Bay in the northwest area of Beausoleil Island.
Sunday police were called to the scene at 8:24 am where a 48-foot vessel was docked and a 30-foot vessel had left the scene.
Police heard the operator of the 30-foot vessel may have been impaired and they caught up with him at a marina in Tay Township around 9 am.
After breath samples were collected, the accused was charged with Over 80.
He’s set to appear in Midland court on October 20th to face the charge.
