Justin Lozon has been sentenced in relation to the 2017 death of Bruce Peninsula pastor Chad Honneyman in a collision on the Bruce Peninsula.
This past June, 35-year-old Lozon, from Northern Bruce Peninsula was found guilty of dangerous driving causing death.
Lozon was acquitted on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He had pleaded not guilty to both charges.
Superior Court Justice John Sproat sentenced Lozon Monday (Sept 12th) to 18 months in jail, two years probation, a five year driving suspension and a ten year firearms prohibition, as well as an order to provide a DNA sample.
38 year old Honneyman died as a result of the crash on October 3rd, 2017, when Lozon’s car collided with Honneyman’s motorcyle on Highway 6 near Lion’s Head.
