Provincial Police say two people have been charged after a search warrant was executed in Meaford.
Grey Bruce OPP, the OPP Community Street Crimes Unit and the OPP West Region Emergency Response Team carried out the warrant at an undisclosed property in the northern Grey County municipality on Friday.
Police have released scant details about the search, saying only it resulted in the recovery of “stolen property and a quantity of ammunition.”
A 34-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman, both from Meaford, were arrested and charged with multiple counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. The male accused was also charged with an additional offence related to ammunition.
OPP say both accused individuals were released and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound at a later date.
