Veterans are getting a break on parking fees in Tiny Township.
Council has approved a parking by-law Amendment to allow vehicles that have an Ontario veteran licence plate to park for free in all municipal paid parking locations. This exemption does not apply to permit parking or no-parking zones.
A news release says the policy is consistent with exemptions for veterans in other municipalities.
