Meaford municipal offices are going to be closed on Friday for staff to attend a memorial.
The municipality says it is with sadness they acknowledge the loss of Nicolas Burt, who worked as the Project Manager for the Facilities in the Community Services department. Burt was crucial in the construction of the new Meaford Public Library.
Burt passed away suddenly in his home on Aug. 5 at the age of 31.
A memorial visitation will be held at Hanover Missionary Church on Aug. 11 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on April 12 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. before a celebration of life at noon.
