The County of Huron has announced funding for several projects around Ontario’s West Coast.
Nine projects have been awarded a total of $87,500 in Supporting Local Economic Development (SLED) funding, which officials say would have a measurable economic impact.
The 2022 successful applications include:
- Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh | Dungannon Farmers’ Market
- Municipality of Central Huron | Sculpture Garden Installation
- Eat Local Huron | Agro-tourism: Farm Crawls
- Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health | SHARP (Skills for Healthcare, Attraction and Retention)
- Huron County Farmers’ Market Association | Farmer’s Market Enhancement Project
- The Township of North Huron | Cruickshank Park Enhancement Project
- Seaforth BIA | Reuse, Recycle and Refurbish Project
- South Huron Arts Centre | Pottery Studio/Class Initiative
- The Town of Goderich | Wayfinding Signage Project
Successful applications were awarded by a selection panel of local economic development judges.
