Collingwood council will be presented with a refresher of current policies meant to protect the tree canopy at tomorrow’s Strategic Initiatives Committee Meeting.
Council says they recognize the importance of the tree canopy, being mindful of the Urban Forest Management Plan that was adopted in February 2020.
They’ll be getting recommendations regarding both the work and funding needed for both short and mid-term actions.
