A charity bike ride around southwestern Ontario will make its way through Huron County.
Members of the Move For Life Foundation are cycling 1,600 kilometres around Ontario, raising funds and awareness for organ donation.
According to the foundation’s website, “the number 1,600 is very important as it represents the number of individuals waiting for an organ transplant in the province of Ontario.”
Part of the 1,600 kilometre journey will take cyclists from Stratford, through Clinton, to Goderich, and south to Port Franks, before returning to London.
Funds raised benefit the Multi-Organ Transplant Department at London Health Sciences Center.
