The County of Simcoe has been fined $5500 after an inspection of Sunset Manor in Collingwood.
The county run facility has been closed to new admissions for more than a year, after a series of inspections resulted in findings of non-compliance.
The fine was issued after provincial inspectors found issues with medication management when they visited in May.
That problem had been flagged in a previous inspection.
