The price of milk will be going up again this year, thanks to higher production costs.
The Canadian Dairy Commission says they’re approving a second price increase for this year, which is a rare occurrence.
The new increase will take effect on September 1st, which is when farmers when start charging an additional 2 cents per litre.
That’s an increase of 2.5 percent.
Back in February, the price of milk went up by 8.4 percent, which worked out to 6 cents per litre.
