The Collingwood and Blue Mountains OPP have added a motorcycle to their fleet.
The Harley Davidson bike will be used to patrol area roads as part of the detachment’s traffic safety efforts.
In June OPP Constable Trevor McKean graduated from the OPP motorcycle training in Orillia and will be conducting motorcycle patrols to ensure community and traffic safety.
A news release states the motorcycle patrols are aimed impacting driving behaviours through enforcement, high visibility and public engagement.
