A woman has been arrested, after refusing to leave a business in downtown Orillia.
The OPP were contacted on Wednesday morning by a store employee, who said an individual was yelling and banging on the windows of the business.
Police say the individual refused to leave and appeared to be consuming an alcoholic beverage.
While attempting to arrest the individual, police allege two police officers were assaulted and a 26 year old woman was taken into custody.
As a result, Susan McGee, of Orillia ON, was charged with the following:
- Assault peace officer- 2 Counts
- Resist Police Officer
The accused was released on an Undertaking and will appear on July 12, 2022, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orillia, Ontario.
