On-street parking restrictions have begun in select areas of Barrie’s waterfront.
From now until September 15, ‘No Parking Except by Permit’ will apply to all previously available on-street parking in select spillover waterfront parking areas; as well as areas within walking distance of several waterfront locations.
They include:
- Centennial Beach (65 Lakeshore Drive)
- Dock Road Park (204 Dock Road)
- Johnson’s Beach (2 Johnson Street)
- Minet’s Point Park (10 Brennan Avenue)
- Tyndale Park (45 Tyndale Road)
- Wilkins Park (121 Crimson Ridge Road)
Residents can get a digital waterfront parking permit for free using the HotSpot app or website.
#BarrieWaterfront spillover parking restrictions begin June 15. Vehicles must have an active digital waterfront parking permit (or display a Waterfront Parking Pass) to avoid getting a ticket while parked on-street. Review impacted areas: https://t.co/Syui4nAfp7 pic.twitter.com/YAST91Rk9O
