OPP have an update on a fuel theft investigation at a property in southern Bruce County that resulted in the seizure of hundreds of thousands of dollars of property as well as some drugs.
On June 8th Huron County OPP received a report of a fuel theft from a property on Patrick Street in Huron East. A White cube van was reported to be involved in the theft.
Less than an hour later, at 5:50 a.m., South Bruce OPP received a report of an attempted vehicle theft in the village of Teeswater. Responding officers received a description of a White cube van involved in the attempted theft.
Huron County OPP reportedly located the suspect vehicle on a rural property along Concession 2 in former Culross Township. OPP say investigators received information that the suspects had access to firearms.
The West Region OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit, Aviation Services, Community Street Crime Unit, South Bruce OPP Major Crime Unit, OPP Forensic Identification Services and Huron County OPP are assisting the South Bruce OPP with this investigation.
OPP say as a result of the execution of a search warrant, they seized a quantity of meth and fentanyl. The estimated value of the seized controlled substances is $25,500.
Officers also recovered a large quantity of stolen property. The list of recovered property includes:

· Ski-Doo snow mobile
· KTM dirt bike
· Car hauler trailer
· Salem camper trailer
· Brass Knuckles/Folding Knife
· Six Pelican Kayaks
OPP say the combined value of the recovered stolen property is estimated to be $211,235.
They say the investigation is continuing.
