Barrie police have charged a 33 year-old man in connection with an incident April 12th, in which a police cruiser and an ambulance were damaged. Police say it began as an assault in a parking lot on Big Bay Point Road. The suspect fled in a vehicle and struck a police car and sideswiped an ambulance as he left the area. The man faces nine charges including assault with a weapon, dangerous driving, and flight from police.
