The YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka is participating in the ParticipACTION Community Better Challenge this month.
It’s a national physical activity challenge which allows anyone, including organizations, to track the number of minutes they spend being active within their communities in hopes of winning the title of “Canada’s most active” and a top prize of $100,000.
Throughout June, the Y is offering free day passes on Saturdays to encourage residents to be active and promote health and well-being in the community.
There are different program options available at each YMCA, and residents can find their local schedule online.
