Ammunition disposal training begins today at CFB Borden.
Soldiers from the Canadian Forces Logistics Training Centre (CFLTC) ammunition technician course will be conducting controlled detonations at the base for the next month (until July 10th), excluding weekends, between the hours of approximately 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Officials say at no time will this training pose a risk to local population or infrastructure; with approximately 10 controlled detonations taking place daily.
