The Jim Cuddy Trio is headlining a unique event to raise funds for Hospice in Simcoe County.
A Canadian Cabin Party is the theme of tonight’s show at The Heights on Horseshoe Valley Road.
Three local hospices – located in Barrie, Orillia and Penetang – will share the proceeds raised from the ticket sales, auction items and draws in support of their programs and services.
“This fundraiser is truly one of a kind,” says one of the organizers Trish Campbell. “From the music, to the decorations, food and overall vibe, it has a real Canadiana feel to it.”
Campbell and a group of friends decided to plan the special fundraiser more than a year ago in support
of the local healthcare facilities that provide quality, respectful care for those living with a life-limiting
illness.
