For the Victoria Day weekend, live events are returning to downtown Goderich in a big way.
Downtown Goderich Business Improvement Area Manager, David Mackechnie, says the Saturday of the long weekend will feature numerous activities.
Returning will be the the Goderich Farmer’s Market, which will run every Saturday until the Thanksgiving weekend.
Mackechnie tells Country 104.9 News downtown Goderich will have bed races for the first time in over 40 years.
“To my knowledge, I think the last time we did it was 1977,” Mackechnie says.
“The Square was such an amazing venue for it, that Goderich had to get back on.”
Family-friendly activities will also be running throughout the day Saturday, including:
- Circus performers
- Inflatable obstacle course
- Goderich Flyers Hockey Play-A-Long
- Bicycle Safety Rodeo
- Laser Light Show
The event runs Saturday in downtown Goderich, and you can find a link to the events list here.
