Drone racing has gotten the OK in Wasaga Beach.
Council members have approved drone racing at the Wasaga Sports Park and also directed staff to work with organizers in booking the activity.
Spearheaded by the 705 Multirotor Racing Chapter, the Wasaga Beach-based organizer plans to host the events every two to three weeks on Sundays until October.
During the events, organizers will monitor small drones as they navigate a course.
