Orillia OPP has made an arrest in connection with a robbery at a local pharmacy.
On the evening of October 18th, 2021, a man entered the business brandishing a handgun and proceeded to the pharmacy staff area and demanded access to the safe, then fled with some prescription medication.
On May 26th, after a forensics investigation, police arrested a 55-year-old West Nipissing man and charged him with robbery using a firearm, and pointing a firearm.
He’s to appear in Orillia court on July 12th to face the charges.
