Huron County OPP have charged a woman with impaired driving after an e-bike related incident.
Police say, just before 10 at night on Friday, May 20th in Wingham.
An officer was patrolling in at the intersection of Patrick Street & Josephine Street when he came across the driver of an e-bike lying on the road beside the bike.
While assessing the situation, police say the investigating officer noted the woman was displaying several signs of impairment.
She was arrested and transported to the Huron OPP Detachment for breath tests. OPP say two samples showed she was over the legal limit for alcohol.
The 52 year old Wingham woman has been charged with Operation While Impaired and Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus).
