Canadian Blood Services has issued an urgent call for donors.
They’re experiencing a lull in attendance at donation centers and a rise in cancellations.
The organization has issued a statement saying it is feeling the strain to collect blood, platelets and plasma.
There’s a blood donor clinic Wednesday May 18 at Collingwood Legion.
You can also donate at the collection center in Barrie which has weekday and Saturday appointments.
