The Avon Maitland District School Board is hosting a session for prospective school board trustees to learn more about the position.
Nine board positions will be open to candidate in this October’s municipal election, and AMDSB officials expect some vacancies to occur.
A virtual meeting is being held at the end of May to inform anyone curious about applying to become a trustee about the position.
Board members will be needed to represent:
- Southwest Huron
- Central East Huron
- Northwest Huron
- North Huron/Morris Turnberry/Howick
- St Marys/South Perth/West Perth
- North Perth
- Perth East
- Stratford (x 2)
The virtual information session for prospective trustees runs Tuesday, May 31st at 6:30 p.m..
