The Township of Tiny is pleased to launch its new digital parking permit application as part of the non-resident parking program for 2022. Council approved the use of a digital permit parking platform to issue up to fourteen parking permits, each day, on a first come first serve basis, at a cost of $20 per day.
A Non-Resident continues to be defined as a resident of the Town of Midland, the Town of Penetanguishene, the Township of Tay, and the Township of Springwater.
This new system provides non-residents with greater access to Permit Parking Areas and is in keeping with concerns raised regarding affordability. The Township will no longer be selling 6-month Non-Resident Parking Permits as part of the new program.
How does the parking program work?
Step 1: Set up an account and confirm eligibility (resident of the Town of Midland, the Town of Penetanguishene, the Township of Tay, and the Township of Springwater). Please note that the approval time for account set-up is 3 to 5 days. To set up an account please visit HotSpot Parking online
Step 2: Once an account has been approved, users are able to purchase a permit through their personal account and attend one of Tiny’s four paid parking beach parks or Permit Parking Areas (identified by Yellow Permit Parking signs).
