Glowing Hearts Charity (GHC) is preparing for its 2022 Backpacks for Youth program and nominations are now open.
Last year, through the generosity of community members and sponsors, GHC was able to support 600 children/youth with the supplies they needed to head back to school, and this year that goal has increased to support 1,000 students.
Backpacks, school supplies, water bottles, and lunch kits will be packed specifically for each child to reflect the information shared with GHC, giving students supported through the program what they need to head back to the classroom feeling excited and empowered to start the new school year.
Eligible students are:

In JK – grade 12+ in Simcoe County
-
Attending full-time in-person instruction at a publicly funded school

Living in a low-income household
