Charges have been laid, after a search for the driver of a crashed vehicle near St. Joseph.
OPP were called about an SUV in a field off Highway 21 north of the Bluewater town last Thursday, with reports the driver walked away from the scene disoriented.
Police found the suspect north of the collision, and learned they had broken into a commercial property near the collision scene and stole some items from the business.
A 37 year old London man has been charged with:
- Break, Enter a Place
- Commit Indictable Offence
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
- Fail to Report Accident
- Careless Driving
- Fail to Remain
The accused will answer to the charges in Goderich court June 27th.
