The weather continues to warm up.
Summer-like temperatures are forecast for most of southern and northeastern Ontario from today into Saturday.
The normal high for this time of year is 18 degrees, while today’s high will be between 23-29 degrees Celsius.
Environment Canada says some areas will see the temperature approach 30 degrees Celsius on Friday, but it will feel cooler near the water.

- Collingwood- 23.4°C (2011)
- Muskoka- 23.1°C (2011)

Summer-like temperatures are forecast for most of southern and northeastern Ontario from Wednesday into Saturday. Over the Ottawa Valley and parts of northeastern Ontario, afternoon values will exceed 30 degrees on Friday. It will be cooler near the larger lakes.
