OPP are looking for a suspect after an elderly man was robbed of cash and pushed to the ground in Wasaga Beach.
Police say the incident happened Monday afternoon, outside the TD bank on Stonebridge Boulevard where the victim had just withdrawn some cash.
Police say a suspect rolled up on an e-bike, claimed he was a police officer and needed to see the man’s wallet.
When the wallet was produced, the robber grabbed the cash and pushed the victim to the ground.
The man suffered minor injuries. The suspect was last seen fleeing north on Main Street on a red and white e-bike.
He may have been wearing a white or silver helmet.
