The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 227 new COVID-19 cases and 2 new deaths.
Deaths include a Simcoe County man between 45 and 64 years old and a Muskoka man over the age of 79.
In their first update since Friday, the health unit also reports four new hospitalizations.
Currently, there are 29 people hospitalized with the virus throughout the region including 3 in ICUs.
