On behalf of council and staff, Wasaga Beach Mayor Nina Bifolchi has extended condolences to the family of Olive Kanat.
Olive worked for the Wasaga Beach Public Library, retiring as chief librarian in 1996.
She passed peacefully in her sleep April 28 at the Stayner Care Centre–just 11 days away from her 90th birthday.
