The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 218 new COVID-19 cases and one death.
The death is a man over the age of 79 from Muskoka.
Today’s update also includes 7 new hospitalizations.
Currently, there are 26 people hospitalized with the virus throughout the region including three people in ICUs.
