The pandemic-delayed 2020 Owen Sound Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony was held Friday night at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
Four athletes, two builders and three teams were inducted into the local hall for their contributions to sport in Owen Sound and area.
The athletes called to the Owen Sound Sports Hall of Fame were Mark Cochrane, Steve Irving, Bryan Kazarian and Bayleigh Hooper.
Terry King and the late John ‘Jack’ Milne were inducted as builders.
And three teams: the 1968 Owen Sound Highsteppers Patti Cakes, the 1968 TNT Highsteppers and the 2018 U23 Selects Fastball Team were part of the 2020 Owen Sound Sports Hall of Fame Class.
A special merit award was also presented to the Crescent Club.
