The OPP is investigating the discovery of human skeletal remains in a rural area of Huntsville.
Wednesday at 5:32 pm a member of the public called police to report the discovery west of Highway 11 in a large field near Hemmings Road.
The Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario is being assisted in this investigation by the Huntsville OPP Crime Unit, OPP Central Region Forensic Identification Services, and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
Police say there is no public safety concern.
This investigation continues and further information will be released when it becomes available.
