Hanover police say they were called to a disturbance at a local car dealership overnight Sunday into Monday.
They say they responded to reports of a man burning clothes and throwing objects at parked vehicles in the dealership lot.
Police located a 38-year-old man who was prohibited by court order from being at the dealership.
Police Chief Chris Knoll says on Twitter, the suspect was taken into custody and charged with two counts of breach of probation and attempting to escape lawful custody.
Police say he was held overnight in police cells and was scheduled to appear in bail court Monday.
